International Convenant on Civil and Political Rights, 1966 (Art 19)
Everyone shall have the right to hold opinions without interference.
Everyone shall have the right to freedom of expression, this right shall include freedom to seek, receive and impart information and ideas of all kinds, regardless of frontiers, either orally, in print or in print of art, or through any other media of this choice.
The exercise of the rights provided for in paragraph 2 of this Artciles it special duties and responsibilities. It may therefore be subject to certain restrictions, but these shall only be such as are provided by law and are necessary:
a) For respect of the rights or reputations of others;
b) For the protection of national security or of public order (ordre public), or public health or morals.

The European Convention on Human Rights. 1950 (Art 10)
Everyone has the right to freedom of expression. The right shall include freedom to hold opinions and to receive and impart information and ideas without interference by public authorithy and regardless of frontiers. This Article shall not prevent States from requiring the licensing of broadcasting, television or cinema enterprises.
The exercises of these freedoms, since it carries with it duties and responsibilities may be subject in such formlalities, conditions, restrictions or penalities as are prescribed by law an andd are necessary in a democratic society, for the prevention of disorder or crime, for the protectionof health or morals, for the protection of the reputation or rights or order, for the preventing the disclosure of informaion received in confidence, or for maintaining the authority and impartality of the judciary.

American Declaration of the Rights and Duties of Man. 1948 (Art 4)
Every person has the right to freedom of investigation, of opinion and of the expression and discussion of ideas, by any medium whatsoever.

American Convention on Human. 1969 (Art 13)
Everyone shall have the right in freedom of thought and expression. The right shall include freedom to seek, receive and impart information and ides of all kinds, regardless of frontiers either orally, in writing, in print, in form of art, or through anyother medium of one's choice.
The exercise of the right provided for in the foregoing paragraph shall not subject to prior censorship, but shall be subject to subsequent imposition of liability, which shall be expressly established by law to the extent necessary in order to ensure:
a) respects for the rights or repututations or thers; or b) the protection of national security, public order, or public health or morals.
The right of expression may not be restricted by indirect methiods or means, such as the abuse of government or private controls, or equipment used in the dissemination of information, or by any other means tending to impededthe communicatio and circulate of ideas and opinions.
Notwithstanding, the povisions of paragraph 2 above, public entertainments may be subject by law to prior censorship for the sole purpose of regulating aceess to them for the mioral protection of childhood and adolesence.
Any propganada for war and advocacy of national, racial, or religous hatred that constitute incitrment to lawless or to anyother similar illegal action against any person or group, group of language or national orgigin shall be considered as offences punshable by law.

Every citizen shall have the right to freedom of speech and expression, and there shall be freedom or the press, subjectto any reasonable restrictions imposed by law in the interest of glory of Islam or the integrity, security and defence of Pakiustan or any part thereof, friendly relations with foreign states, public order, decency, or morality or in relatiion to contempt of court, commission of orincitment to any offence.
