This is for Action Research Forum of public wisdom;
Some of the forum participants were born in British India, they did not want to recap the memories in words, but the fact is half baked politicians and ego was over dominant factors, the perception as a personal property. However the perceptions are context based which are volatile.
In forced migration they lost physically everything and on the top sense of belongingness (like rolling stone) and now belong to $s not place values which were built after a long course of life. New generations will make it for themselves, the legacy will be buried with parentage, and communities pay the cost which leadership commits to basic modular structure.
If beyond fundamentalism one thinks, the fate of subcontinent could have been different, but that needed rationality which is often ignored in whims, ‘Like for like’.

“Yesterday I went to Gujranwala and found the house where you were born. The house where you left behind your parents, drenched in their own blood,” wrote Mohammad Riaz in an e-mail he sent to his friend Mahinder Singh in Burke, Virginia.
